Punjabi is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by inhabitants Punjab region in both Pakistan and India. There are over 120 million native Punjabi speakers, which makes it approximately the 10th most widely spoken language in the world. The literary tradition in Punjabi started with Baba Farid Jee.
